A commission never changes a ranking. A bag I recommend earns its place by surviving real travel, and I do mention the ones that don’t.
How I choose and test products
My goal is to review bags the way they actually get used. In practice that works like this:
- Durability first. Wheels, zippers, handles and fabric, judged after real transit abuse.
- Everyday use. Packing space, access, carrying comfort and fit within airline limits.
- Value. What the bag costs against what it delivers over many trips.
- Relevance. Products that suit frequent flyers and vacation travelers.

Now and then I may publish sponsored posts or work with a brand. These are clearly labeled, and I disclose any material connection. A sponsor can supply a product or fund a post, but it cannot approve my verdict or ask me to hide a flaw.
